Result 1: National primary and secondary legislation for organization of the market in agricultural products prepared and adopted by Kosovo’s relevant stakeholders in line with the EU relevant regulations and practices

Result 2: Good institutional capacity built for implementation and enforcement of the legislation on organization of the market in agricultural products issued under this contract

Result 3: A comprehensive, functional and well managed Integrated Agricultural Information System established in Kosovo

Result 4: Good awareness of the relevant stakeholders and public with regards to the outcomes of this contract, so that effective implementation and enforcement of the new legislation issued becomes possible

Result 1:  National primary and secondary legislation for organization of the market in agricultural products prepared and adopted by Kosovo’s relevant stakeholders, in line with the EU relevant regulations and practices.

A (Activity) 1.1 – Analysis of the current situation in the sector
A 1.2 – Organizing consultative workshop with the stakeholders
A 1.3 – Drafting of the Law on organization of the market in agricultural products and support for adopting
A 1.4 – Preparation of the secondary legislation for implementation of the Law on organization of the market in agricultural products
A 1.5 – Preparation of the administrative Instruction on agriculture cooperatives

Result 2– Good institutional capacity built for implementation and enforcement of the legislation on organization of the market in agricultural products issued under this contract.

A 2.1 – Preparation of the rules and procedures for the work entailed by implementation and enforcement of the legislation
A 2.2 – Perform the TNA of the relevant stakeholders
A 2.3 – Preparation of the Training programme
A 2.4 – Implementation of the training programme
A 2.5 – Evaluation of the training implemented

Result 3:  A comprehensive, functional, and well managed Integrated Agricultural Information System (IAIS) established in Kosovo.

A 3.1 – Approximation of Kosovo IAIS to EU Agricultural Acquis
A 3.2 – Establishment of target-content based reporting system with standard data exchange platform
A 3.3 – Interconnectivity among existing and new systems
A 3.4 – Statistics
A 3.5 – Establishment/upgrading of AMIS
A 3.6 – Strengthening of FADN
A 3.7 – Consolidation of IACS
A 3.8 –  Development of the registers
A 3.9 – Establishment the central MAFRD umbrella register of registers and Client register
A 3.10 – Capacity building and training on FADN, AMIS and IACS

Result 4:  Good awareness of the relevant stakeholders and public with regards to the outcomes of this contract, so that effective implementation and enforcement of the new legislation issued becomes possible.

A 4.1 – Organizing a Kick-off event.

A 4.3 – Organizing public awareness/information campaign regarding the outputs/outcomes of this contract
A 4.4 – Preparation, printing and distribution of the Handbook on the quality standards for fresh fruits and vegetables
