Since the beginning of the project, work has also been done on the drafting of the law for joint production organizations, as one of the main components of the project. This was done by the working group composed by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, international and local experts.
As a basis for this law, the best practices in the EU countries were taken, adapting them to the circumstances of Kosovo.
The international and local experts who are part of the team have normally given great help and contribution.
The working group held several meetings in a row until the final draft of the law was reached, which was forwarded to the Ministry of Agriculture to continue with other procedures until its approval in the Parliament of Kosovo.
In addition to the primary law, work will also be done on the secondary legislation so that this sector is regulated according to European standards.
