Dario Salvatore Caccamisi

Mr. Dario Caccamisi is an agronomist and anthropologist with experience in food supply chain management, food safety and quality assurance programmes and marketing of agricultural products. International experience in Africa, Mediterranean countries, Central Asia, Pacific Islands, and the Balkans region, with contribution to projects of major international donors: FAO, IFAD, TWB, GIZ, DANIDA, EU, USAID, ADB, IFC.

Marketing competence has been developed throughout the entire career working with companies in the agri-food and agri-business sector and at an academic level as professor of marketing at the University of Parma. Value chain analysis competence has been developed in close contact with the business community, working with agri-food SMEs and facilitating SME, agricultural co-operatives and producer organisations networking, marketing, and quality systems’ implementation. Long experience in technical assistance to farmers and public institutions for the improvement of the legal framework and operations of agricultural co-operatives and the organisation of the market organisation.
